A Florida woman has admitted helping to sell millions of dollars-worth of counterfeit chips, in a scheme that brought in nearly $16 million over three years.
The defendants are alleged to have advertised name-brand, trademark-protected Integrated Circuits ("ICs") for sale on a website, after acquiring ICs bearing counterfeit markings from China and Hong Kong and importing them into the United States through various ports of entry.
On 31 separate occasions, nearly 60,000 integrated circuits bearing counterfeit marks including military-grade markings were imported!
